Village Hall Bar

As generally known, the bar is managed by the company Marcham Community Trading (MCT). Its Directors are Geoff Dix and Trevor Hill. These are voluntary positions and along with the excellent volunteer bar staff, numbering over twenty, ensure the bar facility is open to everyone of all ages, particularly local residents, throughout the year.

Whilst appreciating the patio area, the Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) and playing field lend themselves to potential customers, including families, during the warmer months, the bar does provide the opportunity to have a social drink and to meet new acquaintances during the winter.

The bar is open every week during the following times:
Wednesdays 7pm until 11pm
Fridays 5pm until 11pm
Saturdays 1.30pm until 10.30pm
Sundays Midday until 6.30pm

MCT sponsor events that take place in the village hall, such as the bingo, horse racing and quiz nights. It also provides a venue for watching Sky TV, particularly sporting events.

The intention is to cover as many main sporting events as possible. Certainly major Cricket, Formula One and Golf events are likely to be included.

For those of you not specifically sport minded, you will see there are many times during the week when sport is not to the fore, so we hope there`s plenty of opportunity for everyone to enjoy a chat and a drink, particularly when the warmer months and outside socialising on the patio becomes available.
